The End of Aom and Tang's Long Running Sitcom

Aom and Tang Saksit's sitcom Bangruk Soi 9 will be leaving the small screen after 9 years of broadcast. This is the longest running sitcom in Thailand. On Friday February 25th, Exact held a press conference on the show's departure. The last episode will be April 28th. At the press conference, the cast led by Tang and Aom announced the news of the show's ending. Here's a short summary of what Tang and Aom said.

Tang: I'm so sad, but must admit that this story has ended completely. Bangruk Soi 9 was started when a man met a woman, they fell in love, got married, and finally had a baby together. All is completed. Thanks to all from my heart and all will be a wonderful memory.

Aom: Thanks to everyone and I cried, not because I was sorry, but because I must countdown to end of this sitcom. I'm frightened to think about it because I am bound to everyone on the team. Thanks to everyone and the fansclub that has followed this sitcom for 9 years.

Sudkhed orders Penphak (his eldest daughter) to buy Dork Soke from Somjai's new husband. Sudkhed changed Dork Soke's name to Apiromreedee.

Sudkhed loves Dork Soke, but Phenphak, Pentakarn (Penphak's daughter), Sudsuer (Sudkhed's youngest daughter) all hate her, but Dork Soke is able to endure everything because she has Ausanai to encourage her. Dork Soke secretly falls in love with him, but Peeyakamon & Pentakarn are in love with him, too.

After Sudkhed's death, Dork Soke decides to return to her grandmother. She then meets Mrs. Bent. When Mrs. Bent sees Dork Soke's necklace, she realizes that Dork Soke is her granddaughter (her son's daughter).

Dork Soke moves to the United states with Mrs .Bent, but she still loves and misses Ausanai. Because of this, Mrs. Bent decides to take Dork Soke back to Thailand......So how will things unfold and who will Ausanai choose?

During the great flood of 2011 in Thailand, it caused much trouble to anyone even Kor(Pong), who is a playboy and a pub owner. He has become a flood victim as well and has to evacuate and run away from his creditors by trying to get help from Kla, his father in Rayong. But he is surprised, he doesn't find his father. There is a young woman name Wun(View Wannarot), who claims to be the person that takes care of his father. She told him that Kla disappeared and after that Kor quarrels with him over the phone. Kor opens his father's safe to get money to pay off his debt, but there is no money. There is only paperwork that specify that his father gave all of his money to Wun and that if he wants the money, he must marry Wun.

There is much disorder and more fun when Yuan, Kor's creditor, takes his family to escape the flood to live with Kor and Baby, Kor's sweetheart, also escapes the flood to find Kor. Plus, Kor must find his missing father.

Yes, it has been confirmed by Aom that she is 6 weeks pregnant. Future lakorn projects that were in the works are now cancelled, but she will still be in the lakorn Ruk Khun Tao Fah with Ken because there are not many episodes to shoot. There are unconfirmed rumors that Aom is pregnant. The latest news from Thairath reports that Aom is feeling extremely anxious and worried after she went scuba diving and ran the Bangkok Post marathon because she just found out that she is pregnant for about a month. We previously posted that there were unconfirmed news that Pong, Bee, & Pim's lakorn Pidsawat would not be made. Now in this video message to her fans, Bee states that she almost got to work with director Sant Srikaewlaw (Exact's award winning director of such hits as Leurd Kattiya, Ching Chang, Fah Pieng Din, and La Ong Dao) who is supposed to direct Pidsawat and now is currently directing Pong's upcoming drama Dork Soke. Bee did not go into details, but said that there is a problem and now won't be able to do it. As for the lakorn itself, we still believe that Exact will still make this lakorn since they already bought the copyright. It's just they will use a different cast.

Update: Confirmation on Aom's Lakorn with Ken

We previously posted news that there was talk that Ken would be doing a lakorn produced by his wife called รักคุณเท่าฟ้า / Ruk Khun Tao Fah / Love You As Much As the Sky. Last night on the entertainment program Doa Ka Jia, Ken's wife Noi Bussakorn confirmed that this lakorn will be made and that so far, the three actresses that are confirmed for the lakorn are Aom, Chompoo Araya, and Cherry Khemupsom. Janie Tienphosuwan was also rumored to be one of the actresses to appear in this lakorn, but we're not sure if she wasn't mentioned because she hasn't confirmed with Noi that she would take the role or if she is still being considered for the part. Of course, we'll let you know if we hear of any other updates.

There are rumors at pantip forum (from komchadluek.net) that Ken will star alongside 4 major actresses in a lakorn that his wife Noi Bussakorn is producing called รักคุณเท่าฟ้า / Ruk Khun Tao Fah / Love You As Much As the Sky. The leading actresses that he might get to work with are Aom, Janie Tienphosuwan, Cherry Khemupsorn, and Chompoo Araya. We have been following this story for a while now. Donut Manatsanan had stated a while back in an interview that she will be acting with Pong in a movie called มะหมาสี่ขาครับ 2 / Ma Mha Cee Ka Kub 2 / Dogs Have Four Legs, Kub 2, but did not disclose any details. But because the interview was from a gossip column in a newspaper, we were unsure if it was true or not.

Pong has always been in the news about being involved with a "certain someone", but has always denied it as just rumors. Then, a couple of days ago, it was disclosed by Kaew that she has been seeing Pong for two months now. Naturally, all of Pong's fans want to know about this and today on Woody's morning show, Woody said that Pong has acknowledged to him that Kaew is someone special he is seeing. So who is this lucky girl that captured Pong's heart? Her full name is Jarinya Sirimongkongsakul, nickname Kaew. Pong's New Project: Dork Soke

This was totally a surprise! There were rumors of Pong in other projects, but none for this lakorn. Originally, Chakrit and Vill Wannarot were supposed to star in this, but now it looks like it will be Pong. The nang ek will be announced tomorrow and is rumored to be newcomer Charebelle Lanlalin. Jeab Sopidnapa, Aom's best friend, will also be in this drama and will probably act as the nang ek's mother who also falls in love with the pra ek. Dork Soke / Sad Flower is a remake lakorn which originally aired on channel 7 16 years ago.

This is a quick summary of Pong's interview from Komchadluek News (full interview here). The subject of the news is about Pong's rumors with a certain young woman, which Pong denies. Of course this is nothing new. Pong is constantly in the news for being involved with a certain girl, which he always denies. Pong and Aum Patchrapa's lakorn Nai Roy Ruk will air in September, but the exact date, we are still unsure. At pantip forum, someone posted that the news from May Pitchanart's (one of the actresses in this lakorn) Facebook fan page says that the lakorn will air September 4th, but then someone else posted at pantip saying that the lakorn is set to air September 9th. We've checked Channel 7's website, but they have not posted September's programming schedule, yet. So although we don't know the exact date, the good news is that it will air soon.

A member at asianfuse posted that he read that Bee says that the lakorn has been "deleted". We checked at Exact's website and other sites for Bee's fans, but did not see the news. OMGosh, this has been the news us Pong and Aom fans have been waiting for. There is talk at pantip that Pong, Aom, Oil Thana, Pim Pimmada, Tony, and Apple the Star will all be starring in Kwarm Lub Kaung Superstar 2 (Secrets of the Superstar 2). Those at pantip say that the source of the news is from Exact and that Khun Boy chose the cast. If the rumor is true and Pong and Aom do get paired in this lakorn, Aom will be the only other actress that has re-paired with Pong in a lakorn besides Bee Namthip. Here's another unconfirmed news for us to keep an eye out for. There's news at pantip that Pong, Kob Suvanant, and Yui Jiranan are going to be in a lakorn for DaraVDO called Nam Soy Sai. They say that the source of the news is from Star News. So far there is no confirmation. Of course, we will let you all know if we hear anything else about this.

Edit: If this lakorn gets made, Nam Soy Sai will be a remake. One popular version of this lakorn was made many years ago starring Saranyu Wongkrachang, Nok Sinjai, and Peeyanuj. Here's the clip from the lakorn's opening.
